Another purchase and something to cross off the summer to do list!

I hope you all enjoyed this glorious sunny day. Today was pretty much an average day for what you would expect for the summer holidays. My brother got back from university last night so this morning my mum prepared a yummy breakfast for us all consisting off toast, egg and sausages. It was pretty nice to see my brother after not seeing him for over 8 weeks... but don't tell him that. I then popped out to town with my friend. The first shop we obviously entered was Costa to cool us down from this abnormal hot weather. We both ordered Ice lemonades and sat in the park to drink our delicious ice cold beverage. After a bit of mooching around we ended up in Topshop which quite frankly is pretty inevitable if you ever come shopping with me. Soon my eyes caught hold of a bright yellow satchel. It was £12 down from £30 and luckily I had a £10 voucher for Topshop. So I quickly snapped up that opportunity. One of the things on my summer to do list (listed in my last post) was to buy something I wouldn't usually wear and I guess I don't own anything bright yellow so I'm pretty sure this counts.

Here you can see my new satchel in all it's glory. I think the bright colour would really add an edge to any mundane outfit.
Probably the best thing about this bag is the fact that it has a long strap so you can wear it on your shoulder. All in all I'm pretty pleased with this bag as after the sale and £10 voucher it only ended up costing me £2!

Where ever you are I hope your having a marvellous summer... that is unless you live in Australia where I wish you a fantastic winter although it is probably still hotter than England!

Introduction and last day of school

First of all I would like to welcome you all to my new blog! A fabulous place dedicated to me rambling on about life and fashion. I have wanted to start up my own blog for rather a long time now and since I have just finished school after a gruelling month of exams I now have a glorious 2 and a half months on my hands to fill with whatever I want. So I thought what the hell? So here's to the birth of my new baby blog.

Where do I start? These last few days have been a complete whirlwind. It all started on Friday 13th of June. A date notoriously known for bad luck. This just happened to be the date of my maths GCSE exam. Just brilliant... however it was also the last day of school for most people in my year. After sitting the much dreaded maths exam which to put frankly did not go well. It was finally time to celebrate our newly found freedom with a water fight. It was 25 degrees Celsius (which is 77 degrees Fahrenheit) so we grasped the opportunity of  drenching each other with water while we could. I quickly scurried home to get changed. I had a bit of a conundrum because on one hand I wanted to wear shorts and a t-shirt for getting drenched but on the other I was going straight off to the west end straight after the water fight to see the stunning les miserables. I finally decided on a burgundy polka dot skater dress and I just hoped that the hot weather would soon allow my dress to dry!

I hurried back to the park next to my school to be greeted by most of my year group drenching each other with water.
It was a great day shared with some of my favourite people. After the water fight we played music and chatted to one
another for a few hours. Letting ourselves dry off in the heat.
Then it was off to see Les Miserables. I made my way to the Queens Theatre
were I met my dad and we went in to enjoy the show. It was phenomenal. I saw the great Carrie Fletcher play Eponine
and she did a fantastic job. The whole cast sounded amazing and it is honestly one of
my favourite musicals to watch.
