So Sunday rolled around and even though gates opened at 1:30 we got to Hyde park at 9:30 in order to get a good view. We were met by about 50 other fans waiting outside some of whom had slept overnight. We met some really nice people and even heard Mcbusted warm up and got a cheeky preview of Year 3000 and Thunderbirds are go. Two of my favourites. By this time I was about to explode with happiness. As the time went on the crowd grew. Below is a picture the people waiting at around 12:00
When the gates opened everybody swarmed into the park. There were about 10 gates were everybody had to line up at to get their bags checked and tickets scanned. My friend and I went to the furthest left gate and as luck would have it that was the first gate to be opened and my friend and I were the very first general admission people to get in! We ran to the stage and managed to get barrier! We were even in front of people who had payed hundreds of pounds for priority tickets! The support acts were all amazing , they included, diversity, the vamps and scouting for girls. Finally after 8 hours of standing the moment we had been waiting for finally came! The boys made an entrance in a back to the future car!
The boys were amazing and we had an amazing view!. Here are some pictures that me and my friend took through out the concert!
So the next day I had to Wonder down to an activity centre for Sixth form induction. I was so tired from the day before but it was actually ok. We made our own raft that didn't sink in the water! We also did some rock climbing which I sucked at!
Then on the Tuesday we had taster lessons of the a levels we are doing. The A levels I chose were English lit/lang, Drama, Sociology and Photography. It was so nice to see all my friends again. We had to wear smart office wear for sixth form so here is my outfit!
Excuse the messy bed! I really enjoyed all the A level subjects and meeting the new people joining our sixth form!
The next day I met up with my friend and we brought loads of junk food as we were going to invite loads of our friends round her house for a sleepover in this huge tent in her garden. It was great however I wasn't too great at putting up the tent... and two my friends managed to convince me that they needed me to stand in the middle of the tent the whole time for them to put it up and they only told me afterwards that they were just messing with me.
I've never slept in a tent before so it was a new experience but I loved it.
So yes that's been my week and I've rather enjoyed it. On Monday I'm off to Wales on NCS The Challenge were I will be doing outdoor activities such as rock climbing and white water rafting and quite honestly I am terrified! But it should be really good. Then the next week I get to spend the week in a university dorm so that should be really fun. Hope you all have a good week! x
